IRphotonics の UVIRTM ガラスは、200 nm 〜 6 μm の広い透過波長をもつ特殊なフッ化ガラスです。UV 〜 IR 領域の非常に幅広いアプリケーションで使用できます。負の dn/dT 値をもち、低い反射率をもちます。
UVIRTM は研磨や溶接といった加工が非常に簡単で、その高い加工性によりフッ化カルシウムの代替品として利用できます。UV 〜 IR の非球面レンズの製作に便利な材料です。
